Designer Renzo Rosso started marketing his own clothing under the Diesel name brand after graduating from an industrial textile manufacturing college in 1975. Today, Diesel brand jeans, shoes and handbags are considered cutting-edge fashion with an underground attitude. The Diesel brand has made a name for itself as a company that walks to the beat of its own drum. Even in their advertisements Diesel comes across defying conventions - the same feeling comes across in their jeans, shirts, handbags and shoes.
Diesel modish men's and women's casual wear, unique sportswear and kids' clothes, and distinctive handbags, eyewear, fragrances, and footwear are sold in over 80 countries through department stores and specialty retailers, as well as about 200 Diesel stores. Diesel brand clothing, denim, jewelry and handbags are recognizable by the red and white Diesel trademark logo and slogan "for successful living."
