Franco Sarto Handbags and Purses

Sarto's passion for shoes started early. Born near Venice Italy, Franco Sarto got his start as a cobbler hand stitching shoes in a factory at age 14. At age 20, Sarto was sure that shoes and fashion were his true passion and moved to the centre of shoe design in Italy, the city of Stra. In Stra, Sarto studied and mastered the art of design and craftsmanship before striking out on his own.

Sarto and his then partner Candia traveled Europe selling their beautiful shoe prototypes and designing collections for various companies. The Sarto name became well known for his designs and his passion for beautiful and comfortable women's shoes. Sarto's love of fashion and his passion for good design influenced him to begin designing handbags. With equal love for good shoes and good accessories, Sarto's handbag designs are stylish, sophisticated, and made with old-world quality.

Franco Sarto Lucky Penny Hobo- the very stylish Sarto Hobo design of the Lucky Penny handbag is set off by the gorgeous gold grommets surrounding the inset gilded leather discs. Made of genuine leather and crafted with the trademark Sarto attention to quality and design, carrying the Lucky Penny will without a doubt bring you good fortune in fashion. The shoulder strap measures 21" for a low slung look. The dimensions are Hobo style large but not oversized. With a top zip entrance, two open pockets, and one large zip pocket, the interior is roomy and easy to access. The Lucky Penny is a good bet for metal inspired handbag lovers

Franco Sarto In Stitches Handbag- the double handle frame, and classic Sarto styling give this lovely leather In Stitches handbag a classic handbag form with an updated feel. Brushed golden hardware adds to the vintage look. The interior zip wall pouch and large interior compartment with magnetic snap closure make this handbag convenient to carry. It's adjustable handle straps, and exceptionally durable and attractive whip-stitching round out the winning features on this Franco Sarto handbag.

Franco Sarto Hidden Treasure Handbag- this practical handbag features a lovely textured leather trim over a canvas main body with vintage look hardware. Styled for practicality, but blessed with the gorgeous Sarto look, the Hidden Treasure Handbag has loads of features to expose. Exterior metallic closure pockets add detail and a practical pace to put your personal electronics. An exterior zipped pocket, top zipped closure, and an interior zipped pocket will leave you with a number of secure locations to leave your bits and pieces.

I own one Franco Sarto handbag and it has done me wonderfully so far. Now far as falling apart it hasn't started yet. I will tell you this. The umbrella that came with the handbag has falling completely apart as soon as a good rainy day came. I thought the umbrella really accented the handbag especially since i own a pair of boots of the same style.

Bought a Franco Sarto Sydney Shopper bag at the end of July...started falling apart by September. I have had ABSOLUTELY no luck with their customer service....I have called Franco Sarto's site, been referred to (212) 279-3470 which is Rosetti Handbags, and have been endlessly transferred to people who don't exist, or who don't return phone calls. I can make no contact. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you buy a bag produced by these people, DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. There is NO INTEGRITY of workmanship or product support. Too expensive to be disposable. Sincerely, Cathy Koeblitz, VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER.
