The ad was cropped at the woman's shoulders giving the impression of oral sex, and on her thigh had fallen a few droppings of creamy liquid - really driving the image home. But what left many aghast, including the folks at Puma, was the fact that both the female and male were sporting Puma sneakers; while a Puma handbag lay in the foreground. There was no doubt among the public that this was a Puma ad until the company declared the ad fake, and sent out a cease and desist order threatening legal action against anyone posting the ad.
