Eddie Bauer is a well-known outdoor-friendly brand name. The Eddie Bauer brand has come to encompass high-quality sportswear and accessories - including shirts, jeans, khakis, shorts, skirts, hats, belts, sunglasses, backpacks and watches. From its early beginnings as a simple gear store, Eddie Bauer has become a global tri-channel company with more than 500 retail stores and outlets spot throughout the United States, Canada, Germany, and even in Japan. With an investment of just $25, young Eddie opened his first small gear store in downtown Seattle, Washington in 1920, at just 21-years old.
