Olympia Luggage

Looking for something durable, casual and affordable to take on your next short trip or a sporting event? Olympia Luggage is one of the most popular travel bags for athletes.

Olympia Luggage began two decades ago as a family oriented manufacturer of sporting goods. Olympia Sports has manufactured a wide range of national brand products - including fitness equipment and apparel, footwear and athletic accessories.

The Olympia 4-Piece Luggage Set collection has earned a great reputation due to its extraordinary design, heavy-duty quality and reasonable price. In addition to black or navy blue (the traditional color), Olympia recently added fresh colors to its product line - bright pink, rose red, orange, taupe and even multiple colors (made up of 4 different colors). Thanks to Olympia’s innovative and sports-friendly designs, the chain stores have expanded to over 130 in the Northeast United States.

Olympia luggage best sellers are known for playing hard. The following pieces are available online:

Olympia Sport Duffel – Made from ultra lightweight rip-poly fabric. This duffel is big enough (30 inches) to carry your baseball or soccer equipment, camping or traveling essentials all in one bag. This duffel has a lot of pockets that can separate all your items with ease. A non-skid adjustable and detachable padded shoulder strap is specially designed to resist sweat and rain. The Olympia Sport Duffel costs about $36 online.

Olympia Rolling Computer Tote – This tote uses an EVA foam front panel to provide necessary protection for your laptop, documents, clothing and other personal items. Two-tone polyester face (black and burgundy) and a firm polyester body were carefully crafted for added support. The non-slip shoulder strap is water resistant. Sized at 16.5-inches, this computer tote weighs about 6-pounds. Available for $45 online.

Olympia Rolling Backpack – This 17-inch backpack has a build-in internal locking handle and two in-line skate wheels for easy transport. The “rolling” feature makes this backpack ideal for young kids to use on a daily basis, because it takes the weight off their spine. It can be used for school, camping or sports because you can tote as much as you need to in this resilient backpack. The price is also favorable at approximately $27 online.

I have a set of Olympia luggage that is not very old and two of the extending handles have broken. It also doesn't get used more that 3 times per year. Can I get new extending handles for these two pieces?

Where can I get repair parts for Olympia luggage? I can't find a manufacturer web site on line. I have an Olympia "American Airlines" brand, 20" expandable wheeled upright bag, with a broken handle. What has happened is that the plastic handle has cracked where it screws onto the metal uprights. I've jury-rigged a wire through the screwhole on one side and around the top of the handle, so that I can still use it sort of (I've restored the linkage between the button and the locking/unlocking mechanism), but I know the other side is going to fail soon, and the wire on the side I "fixed" won't last forever either. I'd like to find a source for the plastic handle and screws. It should be a simple matter to replace the existing one. Do you sell any parts, or can you recommend a place for me to find it? Alternatively, do you do repairs, or can you recommend someone who does? Thanks, Rebeccah Prastein rprastein@earthlink.net
