Protocol Luggage

Protocol Luggage knows global travel. With transnational headquarters in Sri Lanka, China, South Korea and America, Protocol, produced by Fine Lanka Luggage delivers durable travel bags at an affordable price.

Father company, Fine Lanka Luggage, is also the manufacturer of other popular luggage brands - such as Atlantic and Travel Gear. However, since the Protocol company is located in the Free Trade Zones of Sri Lanka and China, most Protocol luggage is imported directly from China at an unbeatable low price.

The Protocol luggage line is designed for almost everyone - from businessmen and tourists to travelers and students. Without emptying your wallet you can get your hands on a Protocol business tote, beauty case, leather portfolio, computer overnighter or wheeled upright at most big online travel gear retails and gift stores like JC Penny.

The Protocol luggage collection is made of 600-denier polyester, which is sturdy and won't fray or tear when exposed to unexpected rubbing or abuse. Protocol pieces come in unique colors such as black, red, dark orange, grape purple, chocolate brown, silver grey, navy blue and tapestry green. Each piece features a large exterior zippered pocket and a padded handle.

Protocol offers the following stylish travel luggage online:

Protocol English Garden Collection – This 6 piece solid luggage set includes a 28-, 25- and 21-inch Expandable Wheeled Upright, a 17-inch Carry-On, a 14-inch Duffel bag and a 17-inch shopping tote for approximately $120 online.

Protocol Highland Collection – This brand new 4-piece luggage set contains a 27- and 22-inch Upright, a 21-inch Wheeled Duffel and a 10-inch utility kit. In addition, you'll receive a bonus 17-inch tote for around $80 online.

The black, plastic handle on the 24" Protocol houndstooth with red trim luggage I purchased from JC Penneys does not work! When I push the button in the handle, nothing happens. The handle will not raise up so I can pull the luggage on its wheels with ease. I end up having to bend over and pull it by the regular material handle, which is very uncomfortable. Please advise what I can do to fix this problem. I love this luggage and have received many compliments on it. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Can you tell me where to buy replacement wheels with curved brackets for a overnight size duffle bag? Unfortunately, the company where I purchased the bag is unable to get replacement wheels. The curved plastic brackets have broken, most likely from having booked my luggage on air flights. Thank you, Joan

Also on my carry-on, the zipper pull broke, and the zipper is coming away from the body on the bottom of the suitcase. I'm just wondering if there is any place to contact about getting a replacement? I had Samsonite for years but they got to be too heavy. 13 years ago I bought a set of Protocol at J.C. Penney's in preparation for our 25th anniversary cruise. Since then it has been on numerous trips throughout North and Central America. It's never gotten so much as a snag and the zippers, strap, and handles are still in new condition. Most important to me is the strap satchel which I've used for a briefcase for the last 13 years. It gets tossed in my car every day and goes with me everywhere I go. It is normally fully loaded and about once a month it is overloaded. It looks like it could go another 13 years.

I used my Protocol Luggage (Portsmouth Set) one time and the wheeled suitcase handle broke. It would no longer retract. When my boyfriend took it apart to see if he could fix it, he found that the inside plastic guides had broken. VERY cheaply constructed. Would not buy again nor recommend to anyone.

I received a beautiful set of protoal luggage for Christmas from my parents and what a disapointment. The second time we flew several of the seams began to let loose. This last flight did them in the luggage is no longer usable. You can see there was not enouge material used at the seams. This is no fault of the airlines (althouch I still complained) JC Penny will not take them back because I have no receipt. Anyone considering this brand ought to think twice.
