Samsonite Luggage

Samsonite is perhaps the largest and most well-known luggage company on the market today. It was established in 1919 as the Shwayder Trunk Manufacturing Company. The first line of Samsonite luggage was revealed in 1914.

Today, Samsonite also manufactures and markets under the brand names: American Tourister, Hedgren, Lacoste and Trunk and Company. Each piece of Samsonite luggage is covered by a 10 year limited warranty, including wear and tear and airport abuse. Even though Samsonite's warranty is nothing compared to Briggs and Riley's, Samsonite has repair facilities worldwide for customer convenience.

Samsonite luggage includes the following innovative new designs:

Samsonite Sahora Spinners Hybrid - Samsonite takes rolling luggage to the next level with the Shaora Spinners Hybrid - rolling luggage with four wheels that can swivel in any direction, making it easy to maneuver in tight spaces - such as crowded airports and airplane aisles. The Sahora Spinner is also lightweight (8 pounds when empty), so it's extremely easy to lift into overhead storage. The Samsonite Sahora Spinners Hybrid is approximately $120 online.

Samsonite Ultra 3000 XLT Expandable Sideroller Carry-On Upright Suiter - has an innovative six-wheel base (consisting of two large wheels and four smaller wheels) to enable better tilt capabilities and narrow maneuvering. The Samsonite Ultra 3000 XLT is large and well crafted. It may be a bit heavy at approximately 12 pounds (when empty), however it will carry all you need to take on your vacation - plus more! The Samsonite Ultra 3000 XLT is fully covered under a 10 year warranty for approximately $130 online.

I have an old roll aboard that I abosolutely love...it is the type that can be used as a trolly for a larger bag. I've already had one of the halves replaced but now I have a problem with the half that has the wheels and that trolly handle. During a recent trip one corner of the hard case, in the part with the wheels, was broken when it was gate checked. Please tell me where in the area of Columbus, Ohio I could take this for repair. I would gladly buy a new one if you still made this model, please bring it back! Thanks Brenda Harris
