U.S. Luggage
Almost a century ago, U.S. Luggage - originally called United States Trunk Co. - was established as a steamer trunks manufacturer. After becoming a supplier for the U.S. Army, U.S. luggage earned a tough reputation. Building on that reputation, U.S Luggage began to focus on designing personal hand-carried luggage after the population of air travel increased during the 1950’s. From that point on, U.S Luggage officially transformed itself into a high-quality manufacturer of traveling bags.
U.S. Luggage also surprised the public with the invention of wheeled luggage 1972 – a little known fact. Soon after, U.S. Luggage tapped into the leather brief case industry and became one of the largest leather business case companies in America in the mid-1970’s.
U.S. Luggage has never stopped building on its innovative luggage design. In 2002, the Smart-Strap technology was proudly introduced for business travelers. This unique innovation allows the shoulder strap to automatically draw back into the case frame on both sides of the leather or nylon Computer Portfolio and Briefcase, when not in use.
